Exclusive trekking among craters and volcanic landscapes
Experience an exclusive trekking on North Etna, far from the most popular tourist routes, immersed in a unique landscape. During the excursion you will be able to admire the Summit Craters, Valle del Bove, the Aeolian Islands, the Gulf of Taormina and Northern Sicily, which will provide the backdrop to an unforgettable experience.
After checking your equipment and briefing your guides, we set off in a 4×4 Jeep up to an altitude of 2,950 meters. From here, the trekking begins towards the maximum permitted altitude, at the base of the summit craters.
The route continues along the Northeast Rift, crossing side craters, hornitos and small lava flow caves, until it reaches the craters formed during the famous Perfect Eruption of 2002.
At the end of the trekking, the return to Piano Provenzana takes place again aboard the 4×4 Jeeps, completing an excursion that combines adventure, nature and geology in a unique setting.
The excursion requires good physical condition, appropriate clothing, and the presence of an experienced and certified guide to accompany participants along the route.
