Who is the Volcanological Guide?
The Volcanological Guide is a professional trained to operate in volcanic environments, capable of ensuring safety and interpreting the natural phenomena of active volcanoes. They are not just a guide, but a storyteller of the land, who transforms seemingly hostile landscapes into scenes of beauty and wonder, making every excursion educational and engaging.
Our team
Luca Cosma
Raised at the foot of Mount Etna and Stromboli, he gained his experience by working alongside local Alpine Guides. Da oltre 20 anni collabora attivamente nelle attività di accompagnamento e conoscenza del territorio vulcanico siciliano.
Claudio Morina
Passionate about travel and climbing, he guides hikers with a thoughtful and attentive approach. His pace encourages observing the landscape slowly, turning every outdoor experience into a journey through nature, science, and poetry.
Arturo Latina
With experience in rock climbing and mountaineering, he is also a member of the Alpine Rescue team. His empathy and expertise guide visitors in discovering the volcanoes—combining safety, knowledge, and respect for the environment.
Marco Cosentino
Certified volcanological guide, she has been leading people on journeys to discover Mount Etna for over 10 years. Registered with the Regional College of Alpine and Volcanological Guides, he combines deep knowledge of the volcano, hands-on experience, and a strong focus on safety.
